The hot mixer behind 'Hypocrisy' rolls out the rhythm at 808 on RCA tomorrow night
The wait is over. The sensation starts tomorrow night with renowned trance DJ Andy Duguid manning the deck at 808. Being one of the most talented and aspiring DJs on the scene, Duguid is closely associated with mega-superstar DJ Tiesto as his touring spinner and is soaring on his own right. Duguid started spinning and experimenting at age 13, but his career took off in 2006 when his "Hypocrisy" was picked up by the mighty Tiesto. Black Hole signed up Duguid and "Hypocrisy" landed in fifth spot on the Dutch dance charts and made him famous. The follow-up "Don't Belong" was snatched for Tiesto's "In Search of Sunrise", but it didn't take long for Black Hole to put it out as an official release. Duguid soon became a frequently requested remixer for prolific artists like Johan Gielen and Mr Sam. His debut album "Believe" has 11 high-quality tracks on which he collaborates with acclaimed producers and vocalists such as Mr Sam, Julie Thompson and Dutch singer and songwriter I-Fan. Alongside his productions, DJing is taking Duguid to every corner of the world, from supporting Tiesto during the "In Search of Sunrise" tour last September to Ukraine, Amsterdam, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Britain, South Korea, Indonesia and South America. "Believe" came out on Black Hole Records, and the first single "To the Floor" hit the streets in November.
