The fifth Asean Bartenders Championship took place on June 19 in Manila, under the auspices of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines and the Department of Tourism.

First prize, US$700, went to Anthony Richard Viola of the Philippines for his drink mix "Bunny's Bite".

Thailand's Sarawut Permnan took the $400 second prize with "Status Quo", and the third prize of $250 was claimed by Singapore's Alex Tang Say Leng for "Heart of the Ocean".
