The second part of Chippendale Male Revue comes to Sukhumvit Soi 11 on Sunday

Calling all girls and gay guys! Let's make a date for Sunday at Bed Supperclub.

Sunday night at Bed is has long been known as one of Bangkok's most successful gay nights, offering gay friendly music, a great ambience as well as weekly drag shows from local stars. This week, though, is special. Not only do the guys get their usual kicks, gals also get to have fun too, with the second in the series of Chippendale's theme nights, "Think Pink".

The first series, dubbed Chippendale Male Revue, held a few months ago was a huge success, given that it was Bangkok's first attempt to put on a full Chippendales style show aimed at straight women and gay men alike. Drag shows in some clubs cater mainly to gays and lesbians and hetero girls are missed out.

On Sunday, clubbers can expect a lot of dancing and stripping with music from Bed's resident DJ. And don't be shy, boys and girls, it's a night when you have to be wild and crazy! Normally Think Pink welcomes straight men, but Sunday could be a little overwhelming. Just bring an open mind.

Other than Bed on Sunday, there are other venues that cater shows to the gay community. The recently opened 9 Night Club on Silom Soi 4 has drag queens from the now closed Freeman, such as Day Freeman and co and puts on drag show nightly from midnight onwards at a minimal cover charge, inclusive of drinks. Legendary Day Freeman herself performs here weekly from Thursday till Saturday. The repertoire changes very often to attract regular visitors.

A three-minute walk away, DJ Station on Silom Soi 2 is still a popular joint with both local and foreign gay clubbers. It's also a great place to catch a nightly show.

For those who haven't heard the news, Bangkok's only cabaret venue, Mambo on Sukhumvit Soi 22, has become a sports bar. That makes Pattaya the safest call for cabaret shows right now.
